Tube Curing Press

Direct-curing vulcanizing presses for inner tube production — six frame sizes covering bicycle, motorcycle, passenger car and truck tube moulds.

The Tube Curing Press vulcanizes extruded and spliced rubber tube into its finished form. Upper and lower heated platens close onto the mould under hydraulic pressure, holding temperature and pressure through the cure cycle to give the tube its final strength and elasticity.

Six frame sizes are available, selected by the mould the tube requires — from the smallest bicycle tubes up to 16.00-30 truck moulds. Presses are built to order, and platen configuration can be adapted to the customer’s mould and layout.

Key Features

  • Two-stage mould speed — the mould approaches fast, then closes slow. It does not slam. Mould life is extended and the cured tube is more consistent. (NO.1, NO.2, NO.3, NO.5, NO.6)

  • Silicone O-ring sealing — a patented seal design that extends the replacement interval and lowers long-term consumable cost. (NO.L1)
  • FC 35 cast machine body — cast iron frame, chosen for rigidity and long service life under continuous production. (NO.L1)
  • Uniform heating — upper and lower platens heat evenly across the mould face.
  • Made to order — the press is built around the mould and the line, not the other way round.
